A paRTi Retrospective on Service During the COVID‑19 Crisis
In April 2020, at the height of the global shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE) and sanitizers, the Pilipino Association of Respiratory Therapists International (paRTi) partnered with Dr. Noel Tiburcio and the volunteer group People Inspired of What You Do to support frontline healthcare workers across the Philippines. At a time when hospitals struggled to secure even the most basic protective supplies, this collaboration mobilized resources to produce and distribute PPE and hand sanitizers to select healthcare facilities nationwide.
Through the generosity of donors and the leadership of Dr. Tiburcio and his team, essential supplies were shipped across the country, ensuring that Respiratory Therapists (RTs) and other frontline professionals had the protection they urgently needed.
